Reading your CostMe insights dashboard
Every choice you make in CostMe leaves a trail. The insights screen is where that trail turns into a picture you can actually read.

Every choice you make in CostMe leaves a trail. The insights screen is where that trail turns into a picture. This is how to read it without getting lost in numbers.
Why bother? Because seeing your own pattern is most of the fix. When you can see when you spend, what you spend on, and how far you have come, the next good choice gets easier.
The big number: lifetime savings
At the top you will see your lifetime savings. That is the total of every buy you resisted. It only counts your good choices, not your bank balance. Watch it climb.
Your streak
Next to it is your resist streak. The run of days you kept spending in check. A long chain is something you will not want to break.
Your patterns
Lower down, CostMe shows your spending patterns. Your danger times of day. The categories you slip on most. The weeks you did well. This is the honest mirror.
How to actually use it
Look once a week, not five times a day. Pick one thing to work on — say, late-night online shopping — and let the next week prove you can change it. Ask Amy to help you read anything that confuses you.
The dashboard is not a report card. It is a map. Use it to steer, not to judge yourself.
How this helps you in CostMe
This walks through CostMe's insights screen, which gathers your lifetime savings, streak, and logged patterns so you can see when and why you really spend.
